Enjoy this ghost and graveyard tour of Maryland’s seaside county that includes over 20 sites and 2 graveyards – one is a possible mass grave. SITES ON THE TOUR include the Atlantic Hotel, the Pitts House, Adkins Hardware, site of the “elemental” – the healing treee, the lady in White, the Rackliffe House (Haunted Tri-fecta), the Assateague Indian, Ocean City Lifesaving Station Museum, Dunes Manor Hotel, Trimper’s Carousel, Shoreham Hotel, Captain’s Hill and the only marked grave in Ocean City. WE DO NOT ENTER THE PRIVATE PROPERTIES, but guests may have the opportunity to go inside the properties open to the public. This is a tour from the bus, but we will deboard in Berlin, OC Lifesaving station, Rackliffe House, Dunes Manor and the graveyards.
COST: $32 per person. Includes one seat on the bus and transportation to all sites with a private tour guide for about 4 hours. Meeting place for boarding the bus is listed below. Keep scrolling. Advanced Registration is required.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The tour will last approximately 4 hours. Most of that time will be spent on the bus, but there will be several places where guests will be able to disembark and take photographs – mentioned above. Guests may choose to overnight at any one of the haunted hotel / B&Bs – Dunes Manor Hotel, Atlantic Hotel or Atlantic House B&B.
TIPS / GRATUITIES – The cost of the ticket does not include the gratuity for your tour guide or the bus driver. If you enjoyed the walk, please consider tipping your guide and driver as a sign of appreciation.
GUEST DRAWING FOR BOOK & WALKING TOUR – Those who register for the Ghost & Graveyard Tour will be entered into a drawing done on the bus at the end of the tour for a copy of Burgoyne’s newest book, The Haunted Mid-Shore and a gift certificate for two tickets to any one of the ten Eastern Shore ghost walks offered by Burgoyne’s company, Chesapeake Ghost Walks.
MEETING PLACE AND WEATHER: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the tour and check in with the guide and bus driver. Tour will leave the premises promptly at 12:30 pm. Also note that we do not cancel for rain. In the event that the weather is wet, be sure to bring an umbrella and waterproof clothing and shoes. There are opportunities for getting off of the bus and walking.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Full refund will be given if cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the tour’s start. If cancellation is NOT made within 48 hours of the tour, no refunds will be given. However, all registrations are transferable, so feel free to allow a friend or family member to attend in your place. Just give them your order voucher.
